We assembled the equipment about a week ago. We found it to be quite functional and serve the purpose for which it was purchased. It might not feel quite sturdy - but this is the nature of this piece of equipment - it requires good balance on the part of the user - which is one of its benefits. It certainly is sturdy enough for me (5'8" - 145 lbs) and partner -(6'5" and 240 lbs.) For the price - you're getting a good deal. In fact, we're ordering another one so that we have one set up at both houses. We had no difficulties with delivery - in fact, it arrived quite quickly.
