Customer Review
The gym is well made and a value for the money. If considering, be aware that there are a couple of styles for this gym - a one weight stack version and a two stack version. I had a home gym before (Weider) and this one is both designed and built better. For a reasonable price, the gym offers a good number of exercise options.
Thanks to other reviewers who warned not to tighten the pulleys when first installing them. While having pulleys in place makes stringing the cables easier, many must be taken out and reinstalled in order to place the cable properly. I also second other comments about the lack of good instructions. My gym came with a couple of additional inserts w/o explaining why they were there. The diagrams are OK but not great (e.g., in some cases, 2 pulleys are to be installed but the diagram only shows one -- the number of parts listed is only way to know). No written explanations anywhere. I also fault body solid for not marking the parts. Why can't each item be identified? Sauder places a letter on each item for its "assembly required" furniture. Each type of bolt could be in a separate marked bag rather than 8 types of bolts in one bag.
Only time will tell as to durability - though I suspect that will not be an issue.
